The Division 2 will keep you strapped to your game console
The Division 2 will be located in Washington, DC. The location was revealed at E3 2018 before a trailer for the game was shown during the Xbox E3 2018 briefing.
Thanks to a banner on display at the Los Angeles Convention Center and some games shown at the Microsoft briefing, it was discovered that The Division 2 will take place in Washington, DC.
The large banner shows three agents standing in front of the reflecting pool of the Washington Monument. In the distance, the Capitol building is on fire, as you can clearly see smoke coming out of it.
If you take a look at the trailer and the gameplay, you’ll see that not only monuments come into play. The game showed the agents walking around the Smithsonian National Zoo in search of a downed plane. Listening to the chit-chat, it looks like they were looking for an extraction point.
